imberly is a New York City based award-winning singer, actor, performer, and educator who has played over 40 leading roles in the musical theatre canon. She also originated the role of Maya in the New York City premiere of the play Sideways (based on the Academy Award Winning film). Top theatre critics have dubbed her a "golden-voiced vocalist," "a luminous life-force with a crystalline soprano voice," and "one of the best voices I've heard in musical theatre."

Outside of New York City, Kimberly has performed in National Tours, Internationally in Japan and Taiwan with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and Evergreen Symphony Orchestra, worked for Disney as a lead singer, and has been fortunate enough to play some of the musical theatre’s most celebrated leading roles at the nation’s leading regional theatre's to critical acclaim.

Other various career highlights include performing as Sandy in the National Tour of Grease starring Frankie Avalon, recording the first-ever English version of “Sparkle” from Disney’s Magic Castle (which can be heard on Disney Records), and touring 40 cities across Japan and Taiwan in the Disney concert Disney On Classic.

 

Kimberly is originally from Brigantine, NJ and earned her BFA in Musical Theatre from Ithaca College and her MFA in Musical Theatre from San Diego State University. She is also trained in piano and music theory and runs her own private voice, acting, and musical theatre studio: KDB Studio. She teaches private lessons both virtually online and in New York City.
